The following excerpts are from the Brentwood police logs June 7-11.

Monday, June 7

  • DUI -- An individual stopped for a vehicle code violation on Balfour Road was arrested at 2:21 a.m. for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

  • burglary -- A residence was reported burglarized at 10:19 a.m. on Copperfield Drive. Shotguns, jewelry and money were taken.

  • grand theft -- A chain saw was reported stole at 10:19 a.m. from a business on Brentwood Boulevard.

    Tuesday, June 8

  • public intoxication -- An individual contacted on Brentwood Boulevard at 12:51 a.m. was arrested for suspicion of public intoxication.

  • drugs -- At 4:48 a.m. an individual on Diablo Way was arrested for suspected drug possession and suspicion of being under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant.

  • theft -- A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on Katherine Court at 10:36 a.m.

    Thursday, June 9

  • business burglary -- It was reported at 7:48 a.m. approximately $600 worth of lights were stolen from a business on Birch Street.

  • residential burglary -- A residence on Cobalt Lane was reported burglarized at 2:43 p.m. Entry was made through a rear door.

  • Malicious Vandalism -- At 4:35 p.m. it was reported four tires were slashed on a vehicle t a location on John Muir Parkway

    Friday, June 10

  • vehicle accident -- Officers responded to Walnut Boulevard at 11:44 a.m. for the report of an injury accident.

  • warrant -- At 1:52 p.m. someone was arrested for an outstanding warrant on Larkspur Lane.

  • malicious vandalism -- At 3:46 p.m. officers arrested a male painting graffiti at a park on Garin Parkway. Suspect was also found in possession of a loaded firearm.

    Saturday, June 11

  • dui -- An individual stopped on Garin Parkway for a vehicle code violation was arrested at 12:26 a.m. on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

  • vehicle accident -- Officers responded to St. Emilion Lane at 11:36 a.m. for the report of misdemeanor hit-and-run accident.

  • assault -- A juvenile was arrested at 5:53 p.m. for assault and resisting arrest on Coyote Court.
