The following excerpts are from the Brentwood police logs June 12-17:
Thursday, June 12 Theft -- A catalytic converter was reported stolen at 9:19 a.m. from a vehicle on Boulder Street. Warrant -- An individual was arrested for an outstanding warrant at 10:16 a.m. on Brentwood Boulevard. Burglary -- At 1:10 p.m. it was reported a trailer was burglarized on Sand Creek Road. Taken was approximately $5,000 worth of furniture.
Friday, June 13 Warrant -- Someone contacted during a traffic stop on Minnesota Avenue at 12:44 a.m. was arrested when it was determined the subject had four outstanding warrants from various counties. DUI -- An individual was arrested at 8:20 p.m. on Diablo Way when the subject was determined to be driving with an blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more. Drugs -- At 10:06 p.m. an individual was arrested on First Street for suspicion of being under the influence of a stimulant and possession of a methamphetamine pipe.
Saturday, June 14 Public intoxication -- A intoxicated man was arrested at 1:14 a.m. for urinating in a planter box outside a bar on First Street. Malicious Vandalism -- It was reported at 8:17 a.m. the tires on a vehicle were slashed on Taylor Drive. An iPhone and wallet were stolen. Vehicle Theft -- A vehicle was reported stolen at 7:08 p.m. on Celestine Street.
Sunday, June 15 Theft -- A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on Boulder Street at 8:47 a.m. Violation -- Officers responded to Second Street at 10:08 a.m. for the report of a child custody court order violation. Dui -- At 8:06 p.m. an individual was arrested on Lone Tree Way for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
Monday, June 16 warrant -- An individual stopped for a vehicle code violation at 10:10 a.m. on Brentwood Boulevard was arrested when the subject was determined to have an outstanding warrant from Nevada. Drugs -- At 1:47 p.m. an individual was arrested on Boulder Street for suspected possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Tuesday, June 17 assault -- At 1:27 a.m. someone was hit over the head with a mop handle during an assault on Boone Drive. drugs -- Two individuals contacted on Cornsilk Court were arrested at 9:45 a.m. for carrying a concealed weapon and suspected drug possession.
