In the weekly feature called "e-views," we invite readers to answer a question via email at bnews@bayareanewsgroup.com or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/BrentwoodNews.

Last week's question:

The state recently ordered emergency water conservation measures due to drought conditions. What changes have you made in your home water use? Have you changed how you water your landscape or wash your car or the like?

I HAVE ripped out the sod in my frontyard lawn, no water. Anyone need some clean fill?

MY LAWN is as green as can be. We pumped my pool out onto the lawn and now going to fill the pool with dirt. That's all im going to do to conserve water.

BROWN IS the new green.

This week's question:

Antioch officials have mixed feelings about an East Bay Regional Park District plan to turn former Roddy Ranch and Dainty Ranch properties, which it recently purchased, into a massive Deer Valley Regional Park in the future. While most are pleased to see the property turned into a park, some still lament it as a lost opportunity to attract jobs and business. What do you think?
