PITTSBURG -- Crews are mopping up after a Pittsburg home caught fire Saturday afternoon.

Firefighters from Contra Costa County Fire District were alerted at 4:26 p.m. that smoke was coming from a home in the 1300 block of Jensen Drive, said Fire Marshal Robert Marshall.

Crews arrived to find a "pretty significant" fire in the attic, he said, but they had the blaze under control at 4:47 p.m.

No one was home at the time, he said.

Although the cause of the single-alarm fire has not yet been determined, it appeared to have started in the attic, Marshall said.
