EL CERRITO — Volunteers are welcome to join Friends of Five Creeks from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nov. 21 for a day of planting native vegetation and removing invasive growth along Cerrito Creek north of Albany Hill.

Meet at Creekside Park, at the south end of Santa Clara Avenue, wearing closed-toed shoes and dressed in layers. Tools, gloves, and snacks will be provided. While there, check out the colorful mural commissioned by Friends of Five Creeks. Heavy rain would cancel the work party. For details, go to www.fivecreeks.org or call 510-848-9358.
