Almost football time

The El Cerrito High football team, led by prized recruit Marcellus Pippins (front), opened training camp on Monday. The Gauchos begin their season Aug. 25 against San Lorenzo and should be among the favorites this season in the new Tri-County Athletic League Rock Division.
