Benjamin propels Gauchos to win

El Cerrito High quarterback Keilan Benjamin, shown here at an Aug. 15 practice, had a great game in the Gauchos' 44-7 victory over Newark Memorial on Aug. 31. Benjamin completed 7 of his 11 pass attempts for 188 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. He also rushed for a team-high 56 yards, including two touchdown runs.
