SUNDAY, Sept 16

  • DISTURBANCE -- Officers responding to reports of a person knocking on the door of a residence at Marin and Ventura avenues about 1:30 a.m. arrested a San Pablo man for suspicion of disorderly conduct.

  • DUI -- At 2:30 a.m. officers investigated a vehicle in the 600 block of Carmel Avenue after receiving a report its occupants had been seen driving recklessly and making lots of noise. They arrested the driver, a San Pablo man, for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • ROBBERY -- At 5 p.m. officers responded to Golden Gate Fields when security reported having a suspect in custody and arrested an Oakland man for suspicion of robbery.

  • MULTIPLE CHARGES -- Officers contacted a person acting suspiciously near Ramona and Marin avenues at about 6 p.m. and arrested an El Cerrito resident for suspicion of robbery and for prior convictions.

  • HIT AND RUN -- At about 8 p.m. a caller reported observing a hit-and-run on Marin Avenue near the Community Center. The caller was able to get the license plate number and officers are investigating.

    MONDAY, Sept 17

  • HOME BREAK-IN -- At about 10 a.m. a caller reported returning home after being gone for 20 minutes and discovering someone had broken in and stole items. The thieves possibly entered through a window.

  • HIT AND RUN -- A caller reported observing a hit-and-run accident on Washington Avenue at about 5 p.m. The driver of a red Honda hatchback reportedly got out and looked at the damage he caused, then got back in the car, and drove away with two others. The caller provided the license plate number to officers.

    FRIDAY, Sept 21

  • THEFT -- At 10:30 a.m. the owner of the AM/PM mini market on San Pablo Avenue reported he had surveillance video of a Sept. 18 robbery. The video showed the subject taking a box of cigars and candy. Officers are investigating.

  • HOME BREAK-IN -- At 2 p.m. a caller reported at 2 p.m. discovering her home had been broken into and items stolen. Because her home was in Richmond officers transferred her to the Richmond Police Department.

  • STEALING -- At about 2:30 p.m. a caller reported that over the previous few days someone has been taking items from his property on Solano Avenue. The caller also stated that a woman has been seen hanging around and acting suspiciously.

  • FIGHTING -- Officers responding to Clay and Adams streets at 11:30 a.m. on reports of an altercation arrested two Oakland men for suspicion of disorderly conduct.

    SATURDAY, Sept 22

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- A car on Spokane Avenue was reported burgled sometime between 10 p.m. Sept. 21 and noon Sept. 22.

    SUNDAY, Sept 23

  • FIGHTING -- At about 1 a.m. officers noticed two men at Taco Bell on the 600 block of San Pablo Avenue who appeared to starting to fight. They arrested the two Berkeley men for suspicion of disorderly conduct and additionally charged one of the men for resisting arrest.
