FRIDAY, OCT. 19

  • ROBBERY -- A Richmond man, 39, was arrested after he threatened to physically harm the manager of Walgreen's in the 11500 block of San Pablo Avenue. The suspect reportedly had tried to steal canned food from the Contra Costa County Food Bank donation bin before his arrest.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Police were notified that someone entered an unlocked garage at a home in the 5900 block of Charles Avenue and stole bicycles.

  • DRUGS -- Police, including the K-9 unit, arrested a Richmond male motorist, 19, for possession of a controlled substance for sale during a traffic enforcement stop at Portola Drive and San Pablo Avenue.

  • DUI -- A Richmond female motorist, 35, was pulled over on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol near Cutting Boulevard and San Pablo Avenue.

    SATURDAY, OCT. 20

  • RECOVERED AUTO -- In the 400 block of El Cerrito Plaza, police recovered a 2000 Toyota Corolla reported stolen to the Richmond Police Department.

    SUNDAY, OCT. 21

  • THEFT -- Police arrested a Richmond woman, 53, with prior convictions, after she reportedly stole food from Safeway in the 11400 block of San Pablo Avenue and left without paying. In a separate incident, a Richmond man, 60, was arrested for reportedly stealing more than $200 worth of food from that same store.

    MONDAY, OCT. 22

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Someone stole a black Nissan 200SX that had the keys in the ignition and the engine running in the 6600 block of Hill Street. A 1991 Honda Accord was reported stolen in the 10500 block of San Pablo Avenue.

  • THEFT -- A mailbox and its contents were stolen from a residence in the 2000 block of Key Boulevard.

  • DUI -- Police pulled over an Oakland male motorist, 33, on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

    TUESDAY, OCT. 23

  • IDENTITY THEFT -- Around 7:38 a.m., after a high-risk stop in the Starbuck's parking lot, police encountered a Pinole woman in a stolen Infiniti near Cutting Boulevard and San Pablo Avenue. Officers discovered she was in possession of identification and Social Security cards, checks and personal banking information belonging to 10 victims. The suspect was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility after she admitted to filing more than 50 false tax returns and using the identities of the deceased to establish credit accounts.

  • ROBBERY -- At 2:22 p.m., a man and woman assaulted a clerk at the Super Stop gas station when he tried to stop them from stealing food. They fled toward Eastshore Boulevard.

  • DUI -- Police pulled over a Richmond male motorist, 53, on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol near San Pablo and Wall avenues. He was booked in jail for an outstanding warrant for a parole violation.

    WEDNESDAY, OCT. 24

  • ILLEGAL WEAPON -- Around 11:52 a.m., police arrested a male parolee after he fled from officers and was seen throwing a gun toward St. John's Elementary School. The weapon hit a concrete wall, causing bullets to be scattered onto the sidewalk in front of the school near Cypress and San Pablo avenues.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A Honda Civic was stolen in the 6700 block of Fairmount Avenue. The responding officer located a Honda Accord that had been reported stolen in San Francisco in that vicinity.

  • THEFT -- Police arrested an Oakland man, 47, with outstanding warrants for narcotics and a parole violation, after he was seen concealing liquor bottles in a duffel bag at Lucky Supermarket at 1000 El Cerrito Plaza. Police apprehended the suspect and took him to jail as he was exiting the store.

    THURSDAY, OCT. 25

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A home was burglarized in the 100 block of San Carlos Avenue.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A Saturn was reported stolen from a driveway in the 600 block of Norvell Street. A Honda Accord reported stolen was located at San Pablo Avenue and Wall Street.

  • DUI -- Police pulled over a male motorist, 35, on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and also cited him for driving with a suspended license at Central and San Pablo avenues.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Someone broke a rear passenger window on a Ford Explorer in the 5600 block of El Dorado Street and stole miscellaneous property. Someone broke a passenger door lock on Toyota Camry in the 6700 block of Waldo Avenue. The culprit then entered the car and damaged the glove box.
