TUESDAY, OCT. 30

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone entered an unlocked window and stole jewelry, a MacBook and cash from a home in the 1700 block of Elm Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A '95 Honda Accord was stolen in the 1800 block of Liberty Street. A '95 Acura Legend that was reported stolen was recovered in the 1700 block of Elm Street.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Someone avoided being apprehended following a foot chase after reportedly snatching a laptop off a table at Starbuck's in El Cerrito Plaza. The victim sustained minor injuries after falling while trying to chase the suspect.

  • THEFT -- A Richmond man with prior petty theft convictions was cited for stealing alcohol from a CVS store.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Someone stole a briefcase from a Nissan parked near Trader Joe's at El Cerrito Plaza.

    WEDNESDAY, OCT. 31

  • TRESPASSING -- Police arrested a reportedly heavily intoxicated San Francisco man after he was found seated in an aisle at Jo-Ann Fabrics in El Cerrito Plaza after closing time. Police had responded to an activated alarm and discovered the store's front door was ajar.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Someone broke a front passenger window of a Nissan SUV in the 5300 block of Cypress Avenue and stole a GPS device.

    THURSDAY, NOV. 1

  • ROBBERY -- Police arrested two female adolescents after they reportedly stole a woman's purse after one of the suspects blasted the victim in the face with pepper spray in the 500 block of Clayton Avenue.

  • DISTURBANCE -- A woman took off before officers responded to a call about someone who had been parking in the church parking lot and blaring the radio, disrupting instruction at St. Jerome Elementary School. She also yelled and swore at teachers and the principal in front of a group of third-graders.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- An Acura Legend was stolen near El Dorado Street and San Pablo Avenue. A stolen Honda Accord was recovered at El Cerrito Plaza near the Lucky store.

    FRIDAY, NOV. 2

  • ASSAULT -- Someone struck a Richmond man in the head with a baseball bat after the victim had been inside a business in the 11500 block of San Pablo Avenue swinging his belt around. The victim was treated at a hospital for minor injuries.

  • ILLEGAL TOOLS -- Two Richmond teens were arrested near Jordan and Ludwig avenues after they were found in possession of burglary tools and the driver of their vehicle had earlier been prohibited to drive as a result of a suspended license.

  • DRUGS -- Police arrested a Richmond male motorist for reported possession of methamphetamine and failing to register as a sex offender in the 1900 block of Key Boulevard.

    SATURDAY, NOV. 3

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone stole two MacBooks from a home in the 100 block of Pomona Avenue.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Police arrested a Richmond resident for possession of a stolen Honda Civic in the 11500 block of San Pablo Avenue.

  • POSSESSION -- A Richmond pedestrian was arrested for reported possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia near San Pablo and Wenk avenues.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Someone shattered the rear window of a vehicle parked near Ashbury Avenue and Moeser Lane and stole items.

    SUNDAY, NOV. 4

  • POSSESSION -- A Richmond motorist was arrested near Cypress Avenue and South 45th Street for reported possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a counterfeit driver's license. A San Francisco motorist was arrested for reported possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop at Eastshore Boulevard and San Pablo Avenue.

    MONDAY, NOV. 5

  • ILLEGAL ITEMS -- A Richmond female motorist who was on probation was found in possession of a switchblade and a suspected burglary tool near Potrero Avenue and South 55th Street.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- A Hercules man was arrested after he was found in possession of items that police determined he and an accomplice had stolen from a store in the 10400 block of San Pablo Avenue. And, a Richmond man, 20, was cited after he was reportedly seen trying to steal alcohol from a store in the 11400 block of San Pablo Avenue.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A red '91 Acura Legend was stolen from the lot at Tap Plastics in the 10700 block of San Pablo Avenue.

    TUESDAY, NOV. 6

  • WARRANT -- Police arrested a homeless man who was loitering around a business in the 6000 block of Central Avenue for an outstanding warrant.

    WEDNESDAY, NOV. 7

  • ASSAULT -- Police responded to a call about five women arguing in front of Dollar Tree in the 11500 block of San Pablo Avenue. One of the suspects attacked another woman, punching her in the head and face. Police arrested her, along with anther woman for obstructing an officer.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A silver '96 Acura TL was stolen in the 300 block of Carmel Avenue.

    THURSDAY, NOV. 8

  • STOLEN PROPERTY -- A Corte Madera man was arrested after he was seen removing property from a stolen Honda parked in the 11200 block of San Pablo Avenue, and for falsely identifying himself using his brother's identification.
