TUESDAY, NOV. 27

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone entered a home in the 1500 block of Norvell Avenue through an unlocked sliding door and stole an estimated $900 worth of personal property.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Someone notified police that a man had thrown a brick through the front window of a business in the 11200 block of San Pablo Avenue. The suspect fled before police arrived on scene.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- At 8:59 a.m., an officer spotted a stolen 1998 Ford Ranger approaching Interstate 80 from Cutting Boulevard. He made a traffic stop and arrested the Oakland female driver, 35, and her male passenger, 36, from San Rafael, who was a parolee with two outstanding warrants.

  • DUI -- Police pulled over an Albany man on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol at Carlson Boulevard and San Pablo Avenue.

  • THEFT -- At 9:45 a.m., police arrested, cited and subsequently released a Richmond man, 59, for suspected shoplifting at Safeway in the 11400 block of San Pablo Avenue.

    WEDNESDAY, NOV. 28

  • RECKLESS DRIVING -- An officer saw a vehicle traveling at an estimated 103 miles per hour and swerving in and out of traffic near Interstate 80 and Hilltop Road. The police caught up with the Pinole male motorist, 33, and arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

    THURSDAY, NOV. 29

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A victim of a residential burglary notified police that someone had broken into her home in the 5800 block of El Dorado Street during the night while she was away.

  • DUI -- Police pulled over two motorists on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, including an El Cerrito man, 58, with a suspended license at Carlson Boulevard and Central Avenue and a Richmond man, 35, who reportedly was involved in a traffic collision in the 5800 block of Jefferson Avenue.
