TUESDAY, DEC. 25

  • ILLEGAL TOOLS -- Police arrested a San Pablo man, who was on parole for stealing vehicles, for reported possession of a shaved key on suspicion it had been used to burglarize. The suspect admitted to stealing vehicles and collectible coins from his mother's house.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A 1994 Honda Accord was stolen in the 2700 block of Yuba Street. Police recovered a 1992 Honda Accord in the 5500 block of Zara Avenue that was reported stolen in Benicia.

  • WARRANT -- Police responding to a call about a customer causing a disturbance at Nation's in the 6000 block of Central Avenue arrested an Oakland man, 39, for a warrant for battery.

    WEDNESDAY, DEC. 26

  • VEHICLE VANDAL -- The windshield and two passenger windows of a Lexus in the 1200 block of Liberty Street were broken with a brick.

    THURSDAY, DEC. 27

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A 1994 Acura Vigor was stolen from the Walgreen's lot in the 11500 block of San Pablo Avenue.

    FRIDAY, DEC. 28

  • POSSESSION -- Police arrested a Richmond woman, 44, for a felony warrant during a pedestrian stop on Eastshore Boulevard. She also was found in possession of methamphetamine.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A 1990 Honda Accord reported stolen in Berkeley the day prior was recovered in a parking lot in the 11500 block of San Pablo Avenue.

    SATURDAY, DEC. 29

  • DUI -- Police arrested a Colton woman, 22, at Carlson Boulevard and San Pablo Avenue and a San Pablo man, 24, at Sacramento Street and San Pablo Avenue, for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  • POSSESSION -- A teen was arrested and sent to juvenile hall after being found to be in possession of a suspected burglary tool, stolen credit cards and a methamphetamine pipe at Knott and San Pablo avenues.

    SUNDAY, DEC. 30

  • DUI -- A Berkeley resident, 22, was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 2600 block of Francisco Way and 2600 block of Mira Vista Drive.

    MONDAY, DEC. 31

  • THEFT FROM AUT0 -- A window was broken and a purse stolen from a Chevy Equinox by Macaroni Grill at El Cerrito Plaza.

  • VEHICLE VANDAL -- A window of a Toyota Matrix was broken in the lot of Macaroni Grill, but nothing was reported missing.

    TUESDAY, JAN. 1

  • DRUGS -- A Richmond man, 48, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at Fairmount Avenue and Liberty Street.

  • DUI -- Police arrested a Hercules woman, 46, at 2:15 a.m. at Panama and San Pablo avenues; and a Berkeley man, 23, at 4:24 a.m. at Moeser Lane and San Pablo Avenue on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A 1991 Honda Accord was stolen at Colusa and Hotchkiss avenues. A 1997 Honda Accord was stolen from the El Cerrito Plaza Lucky store.

    WEDNESDAY, JAN. 2

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A 1993 Honda Civic was stolen and a 1997 Honda Accord reported stolen the day prior was recovered in the 7200 block of Lincoln Avenue. A stolen 1991 Honda Civic was also located at El Cerrito Plaza.

    THURSDAY, JAN. 3

  • BRANDISHING -- A motorist reportedly threatened another driver with a baseball bat during a road rage incident that ended at the Union 76 gas station in the 3100 block of Carlson Boulevard. He left before police arrival.

  • DUI -- Police arrested a woman, 55, for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol following a noninjury accident at El Cerrito Plaza.

  • SHOPLIFTING -- A Castro Valley woman, 18, was cited for shoplifting after a loss prevention officer detained her for reportedly stealing DVDs from Safeway.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Cash and jewelry were stolen from a home in the 100 block of San Carlos Avenue.
