MONDAY, Sept. 14 DUI — Officers arrested a 27-year-old Richmond man near San Pablo and Central avenues just before midnight for suspicion of DUI. BIKE STOLEN — During the day someone stole a bike from the bike rack at Albany Middle School on Brighton Avenue.TUESDAY, Sept. 15 TWO ARRESTED — At about 4 a.m. officers responded to reports of two people causing a disturbance by yelling and slamming car doors on the 800 block of Stannage Avenue. They arrested the couple, a 44-year-old Richmond woman for suspicion of possession of drugs and burglary tools, and a 33-year-old Richmond man for suspicion of two counts of possession of a weapon. SUSPECTED BURGLAR ARRESTED — Officers arrested a 20-year-old transient man from Richmond on the 800 block of San Pablo Avenue at about 5:30 a.m. for suspicion of disorderly conduct and burglary with prior convictions. He is suspected of being responsible for several break-ins of businesses on Solano Avenue in the past few weeks. AUTO BREAK-INS — During the night someone broke into a car parked on Curtis Street and stole the radio and some change. A car on Santa Fe Avenue was also broken into. There were no witnesses. WARRANT — At about 1 p.m. officers arrested a 55-year-old Berkeley man on the 1200 block of Solano Avenue for an outstanding warrant. THEFT — Late in the evening, someone stole the license plate off a car parked in the Target parking lot on the 1100 block of Eastshore.WEDNESDAY, Sept. 16 THEFT — During the night, someone stole a ladder and a Volkswagen hood from the backyard of a residence on Stannage Avenue. NOISE — At about 5:30 p.m. officers responded to Mechanic's Bank on the 800 block of San Pablo Avenue on reports of teenagers riding skateboards in the parking lot. The youth were warned about their behavior and departed.THURSDAY, Sept. 17 AUTO THEFT — Officers stopped a vehicle near Dartmouth Street and Talbot Avenue for a traffic violation at about 1:30 a.m. and a check found that the vehicle had been reported as stolen out of Rodeo. They arrested the driver, a 39-year-old Richmond man, for suspicion of possession of stolen property and car theft. The owner was notified. WARRANT— At about 1:30 a.m. officers arrested a 41-year-old Kensington man near Cornell Avenue and Gillman Street for an outstanding warrant. WARRANT— Shortly before midnight officers arrested a 44-year-old Oakland man near San Pablo and Marin Avenues for an outstanding warrant.SATURDAY, Sept. 19 ARREST— Officers arrested a 26-year-old Richmond man near San Pablo Avenue and Monroe Street at about 1 a.m. for suspicion of possession of burglary tools and driving with a suspended license. DUI— At about 2 a.m. officers arrested a 41-year-old Richmond man near Madera and Merced Streets for suspicion of DUI. WARRANT— Officers arrested a 31-year-old San Leandro man near Marin and Stannage Avenues for an outstanding warrant at about 9 p.m. DUI—At about 9 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle near I-80 and Buchanan Street for a traffic violation and arrested the driver, a 35-year-old Richmond man for suspicion of DUI and drug possession. FIGHT—Officers responded to the parking lot at Beverages and More on the 800 block of San Pablo Avenue at about 11 p.m. on reports of a fight involving three or four people. Officers arrested a 22-year-old Long Beach man for suspicion of resisting arrest.SUNDAY, Sept. 20 NOISE—Officers responded to the area near Dartmouth Street and Cornell Avenue on reports of a very noisy block party a few minutes after midnight. The partygoers agreed to be more quiet. DOUBLE ARREST—At about 4:30 a.m. officers arrested a 26-year-old Santa Rosa woman on the 900 block of San Pablo Avenue for suspicion of drug possession and a 29 year old San Pablo man for suspicion of carrying a loaded and concealed weapon. FIRE—Officers and firefighters responded to Marin School on the 1000 block of Santa Fe Avenue on reports of a small fire. When they arrived they found a smoldering sweatshirt that had been on fire, but had been stomped out. |
