Photos: Ribbon-cutting ceremony marks the completion of the MacArthur BART Garage
09/08/2014 05:02 PM PDT - Community leaders gather to officially cut the ribbon to mark the completion of the new MacArthur BART Garage off 40th Street in Oakland, Calif. on Monday. The garage, which will open to the public on Monday, Sept. 15th, is the first of five structures going up next to the MacArthur BART station to form MacArthur Station, a transit community of 624 new homes. The garage will open 481 parking spaces for BART commuters in the area.
