    I'm having problems logging in, or I forgot my password.
    Please complete the following steps to register an account.
    1. From the newspaper home page click “Sign Up” in the top right corner.
    2. Complete the New Member Registration Form and then click create account.
    Note: The password word must include at least one number and one letter.

    To reset your password please complete the following steps.
    1. Click Sign in at the newspapers home page.
    2. Click Forgot Password in the "Already a Member" section of the top right corner of the webpage.
    3. Enter the email address registered to your account and then click "Continue." You will receive an email within a few minutes.
    4. Click on the link to reset your password.

    If you do not see the email in your email box, please do the following:
    1. Check your "Junk Mail" or "Spam" mail folders for reset password email.
    2. Make sure you've provided the correct email address you've used to register with our newspaper site. Please try other email addresses you've used to create an email address.

    If you are still unable to Sign In to your account and read articles, please try the following:
    1. Use a different browser to log into your account. If you are using AOL, please try using a stand-alone browser.
    2. Make sure all Firewall and Popup blockers are disabled.

    If you have successfully reset your password and are still experiencing an issue signing in please check the following.
    1. Make sure you are using the correct email address and new password.
    2. Ensure the “Keep me signed in” box is unchecked

    I can't find an article in today's print edition online.
    We have the bulk of today's edition online. Not all articles make it online. The "search" box in the upper right of the home page (and on most pages) will search everything from the past seven days. To search farther back go to our Archives page. There is no cost to use the archive search, but there is a fee to download articles.

    I can't find a particular feature from the paper online.
    Features can be found in the left-hand navigation on the page. If a feature is not there, it should be in the main section in which it runs in the paper. For an alphabetical listing of all our sections and features, check our Site Map.

    Where can I find a particular obituary?
    Obituaries appearing in the general news section are found on the Obituary page here. Death notices and paid obituaries are handled by legacy.com, a company that contracts with our Web site. You can find a link to their service on the obituary page. Please refer all customer service issues to them at info@legacy.com.

    I can't find one of your weekly publications or the Hills Newspapers publications.
    They are listed in the My Town section under the various geographic areas. You can also find them, alphabetically listed in our our Site Index.

    How long do articles remain available on your site?
    Most stories are available for free access for 90 days, though some material is not accessible for as long and a some special projects are available indefinitely. Use the site search engine to find what content is available. The Times does not accept requests to republish articles once they no longer appear in the free access area.

    If an article no longer is available for free, where can I find it?
    Most articles are available for a fee through the News Library archives. It is not possible to link to the articles in these archives.

    Can I get a reprint of an article in the paper or get permission to reprint an article from your Web site?
    For high-quality article reprints and reuse permissions, please click on the Reprint or Licensing button that appears on most stories.
