LIVERMORE --Guns blasting, those eager to raise funds for charity, and a good time, turned out Sept. 13 for the 11th Annual HomeAid Trap Shoot.
The Pleasanton-based HomeAid Northern California event invited everyone from beginners to sharpshooters to try their luck at the event at the Livermore-Pleasanton Rod & Gun Club.
Since its first trap shoot in 2002, HomeAid has raised more than $1.5 million to help build shelters for the transitionally homeless in the Bay Area. Major sponsors for 2this year's event were Pulte Homes, Brookfield Homes, Denova Homes and Shapell Homes.
The event included team and single shooter competitions, lunch, entertainment and silent auctions.
