After Enochs scored three out of the last four touchdowns of the first half to draw within 41-18, the Eagles took the field to receive the second-half kickoff with momentum swinging their direction. That lasted one play.

Eric Wendelin recovered an Enochs fumble on the first Eagles snap of the third quarter and one play later Depray Celestine darted 29 yards for his third touchdown of the night. Enochs would not score again until one minute remained in the game as host Tracy (11-0) coasted to a first-round Sac-Joaquin Section Division I playoff victory.

Celestine (10 carries, 142 yards; three receptions, 32 yards) scored touchdowns on a 62-yard punt return and a 79-yard kickoff — both in the first half. Celestine and Billy Simon each snagged an interception.

Junior quarterback Casey Wichman (11-of-18 passing, 155 yards; four carries, 50 yards) did a fine job of directing the Bulldogs offense, running 47 yards on the game's second play for a touchdown and hitting Anthony Wills with touchdown passes of 27 and 25 yards touchdown pass. Fullback Jordan Strong (13 carries, 77 yards) scored on runs of 1 and 11 yards.

The Bulldogs host Los Banos in second-round action Friday at 7 p.m. Tracy downed the Tigers 27-24 to start the regular season. Los Banos edged Modesto 27-26 in overtime on Friday night.
