Zach Kline didn't mind the rain or the Cowboys pass defense as the senior quarterback threw for 221 yards on 16-of-22 passing to ruin Livermore's Homecoming with an impressive win.
Kline moved to ball all over the field while spreading his 16 completions to seven receivers. Only Keaton Harvey and Trent Peterson finished with more than two receptions, as the pair caught four passes each.
San Ramon Valley did find some success rushing, as three of its four touchdowns came on the ground. Michael Summers scored one of those touchdowns while leading his team with 67 rushing yards.
Livermore benefitted from a surprise performance from running back Ryan Texeira, who led all rushers with 108 yards on 18 carries including the Cowboys' only score, an 18-yard run in the first quarter. Texeira's previous single-game high was 27 yards.
