Concord quarterback Ricky Lloyd and Kelly Starnes hooked up 12 times on pass plays for 209 yards and two touchdowns as Concord (7-1, 3-0) cruised in DVAL play.

Lloyd was 25 for 30 passing for 367 yards, and connected at will with Starnes.

"They've spent two years together," Concord coach Brian Hamilton said of the duo. "They're good friends. Last year (Starnes) was not our primary guy, but they spent the off-season working hard together, and now there's a lot of non-verbal communication that takes place between them."

Concord's bulldozing tailback Alec Pica rumbled for 102 yards and five touchdowns on 17 carries.

"Because our passing game is so special, people overlook our running game and our defense," Hamilton said.

The Falcons (2-6, 1-2) had just 120 yards of total offense in the first half, compared to Concord's 306. Running back Vince Ferrante led the charge for College Park with 158 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries.
