College Park running back Matt De Silva rushed for six touchdowns to lead the host Falcons to their first win of the season.
De Silva ran the ball 22 times for 302 yards and College Park (1-1) rushed for 438 yards on the night. If not for their six fumbles including three lost, the score may have been even more lopsided.
The Falcons' defense was stingy as well. Dougherty Valley (0-2) did not complete a pass attempt and their rushing game was continually met near the line of scrimmage by swarming College Park defenders. Only junior running back Afolabi Adeoti was able to negotiate the Falcons' defense with success. Adeoti broke free on a slow developing running play to the right side and flew to the end zone from 39 yards out for the Wildcats' lone touchdown. Adeoti carried the ball 15 times for 121 yards.
