The Warriors had a 49-36 lead after three quarters and went on to beat the host Red Devils.

Ygnacio Valley (2-6, 1-2 Diablo Valley Athletic League) took a 35-20 lead at halftime as quarterback Jamari Pope found receiver Robert Foreman for a 35-yard touchdown pass with 41 seconds left in the second quarter. Pope finished the first half 13 of 21 for 187 yards and three touchdowns. Foreman caught five passes for 90 yards.

For Mt. Diablo (2-6, 0-3) in the first half, quarterback Austin Hunt was 7 of 11 for 84 yards, which included a 47-yard touchdown pass to Darneail Jenkins.

Ygnacio Valley hosts College Park next Friday and closes the regular season on the road at Northgate on Nov. 2. Mt. Diablo hosts Concord next week then plays at Clayton Valley on Nov. 2.
