Senior quarterback Jeffrey Prothro accounted for six touchdowns in the first half as James Logan rolled to a shutout over visiting Irvington in nonleague action.

Prothro threw for 199 yards and four touchdowns on 8 for 9 passing and added 76 rushing yards with two more scores. He connected with Kavion Augustine on scoring strikes of 3 and 24 in the first half.

Warren Miles Long had just six touches, but made the most of them by scoring on runs of 5 and 53 yards while hooking up with Prothro for a 66-yard touchdown with 12 seconds left in the half for the Colts, who improved to 8-1. Long finished with 105 yards on the ground on just five carries.

Irvington (4-5) twice reached the red zone in the second half, but was turned away both times by the Colts defense, including a goal-line stand with two minutes left. Vikings quarterback Jack Shank threw for 67 yards and had another 52 on the ground. Damond Beasley ran for 104 yards and a score as Logan finished with 372 rushing yards.
