FIRST TEAM

CALI CASTAGNOLA, Carondelet, Attack, Sr. -- The Colorado-bound Castagnola was second in scoring for the North Coast Section Division I champion Cougars with 57 goals. She saved her best for the playoffs, where she had 18 goals in four games, including four goals in the section title game against Amador Valley.

CAMBI CUKAR, Amador Valley, Attack, Jr. -- Cukar, who has already committed to Oregon, led the Dons with 151 points, including 88 assists, in 23 games. She was a first-team all-East Bay Athletic League selection.

ERIN JEFFERY, Carondelet, Attack, Sr. -- The 2012 East Bay Player of the Year finished her high school career in style as she led the Cougars with 70 goals and 47 assists. Bound for Hofstra, Jeffery is a three-time high school All-American was a first-team all-EBAL pick this year.

JACKIE GILBERT, Amador Valley, Midfield, So. -- The versatile Gilbert was a force for the Dons, collecting 87 points, 60 ground balls and winning 183 draws as she was named first-team All-EBAL.

ASHLYNN GOERZ, Monte Vista, Midfield, Sr. -- The Stanford-bound Goerz led the Mustangs with 78 goals, 86 draws won and 19 takeaways. She was a first-team All-EBAL selection.

KERIANNE HUNT, Carondelet, Midfield, Sr. -- Hunt, the EBAL MVP, had 50 goals and 46 assists and led the team with 50 ground balls and 85 draws won. Headed to Brown, Hunt was also selected as an All-American for the third straight year this season.

LAURA KLEIN, Foothill, Midfield, Sr. -- Klein, headed to Stanford, earned All-American status as she led the Falcons in points (111), ground balls (34), takeaways (34) and draws won (68). She was a first-team All-EBAL selection.

CHLOE LANDRY, Acalanes, Midfield, Jr. -- Landry, who has committed to Cal, was the Diablo Foothill Athletic League MVP and led the Dons to their second NCS Division II title in three years. In the title game, Landry had six goals and three assists.

EVAN MURPHY, Amador Valley, Midfield, Jr. -- Murphy, a first-team All-EBAL selection who has committed to Oregon, scored 74 goals and had 26 assists and was second on the Dons in draws won (35).

MADISON CASTELEIN, Carondelet, Defense, Jr. -- Castelein, who has committed to Ohio State, led the Cougars in turnovers caused (26) and was second in ground balls (38). She was a first-team All-EBAL pick.

KIRA EWANICH, Amador Valley, Defense, Jr. -- Ewanich was a major reason why the Dons allowed just 6.3 goals per game in 23 games this season. She was a first-team All-EBAL pick.

TESS KEVORKIAN, San Ramon Valley, Defense, Sr. -- Kevorkian, a first-team All-EBAL pick who has signed with UC Davis, was the Wolves' most consistent player as she led the team to the NCS Division I playoffs.

KATIE MERRITT, Carondelet, Goalie, Sr. -- The San Diego State-bound Merritt led the EBAL in save percentage (.642) and total saves (132). She was named All-American for 2013 and made 17 saves in the NCS Division I title game against Amador Valley.
