Nate Woudstra ran for 195 yards as the host Huskies tried to rally from a 23-point fourth quarter deficit, but the Jaguars (2-1) recovered a late onside kick to hold on for the victory at Tak Fudenna Stadium on Saturday.

Trailing 29-6 entering the final quarter, Washington (0-3) scored two touchdowns in two minutes when Nate Woudstra scored from one yard out before breaking off a 60-yard run to the end zone with 7:48 remaining to pull Washington within 29-20. After forcing a Windsor punt, the Huskies reached the Jaguars 7, but the drive stalled and Jake Reist connected on a 24-yard field goal with 1:46 left. The Huskies tried for the onside kick, but were unsuccessful.

Washington quarterback Tylan Vinson threw for 265 yards and a touchdown, but was intercepted four times, leading to 15 Windsor points. Terrance Jones finished with six receptions for 153 yards and a score while Sam Hodnett added eight catches for 96 yards for Washington.

The Huskies limited the Jaguars to just 54 yards and six points in the second half. Christian Roberge led Windsor with 129 yards on the ground.
