Frankie Ferrari. Burlingame basketball: Ferrari scored 28 of his team's 58 points as the Panthers defeated Mills 58-46 for the PAL tournament title.

Kevin Garcia-Gomez, James Lick soccer: The sophomore scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Piedmont Hills that gave the Comets a share of the BVAL West Valley title with Silver Creek.

Marcel Gardner, Oak Grove basketball: Gardner scored 17 points and made two key foul shots with 4.7 seconds left as the Eagles upset Piedmont Hills 61-58 to win the BVAL boys basketball tournament title.

Lorraine Jessel, Evergreen Valley basketball: She had 15 points in a 48-42 win over Westmont in the BVAL tournament semifinals.

Christian Lee, Santa Clara basketball: The 6-4 senior scored 17 points in a 66-48 win over Lynbrook.

Matt McAndrews, Archbishop Mitty basketball: The senior point guard scored 12 points and made a key play in the final minute as Mitty held off Sacred Heart Cathedral for the WCAL tournament title.

James McLean, Sacred Heart Prep basketball: McLean had a game-high 22 points in a 64-47 victory over The King's Academy.
