Slominski powers Cowboys in upset

  • Daniel Slominski was 3 for 3 with two doubles, a run scored and an RBI as the Livermore High baseball team won its second straight game, 5-1 over San Ramon Valley on April 11 in East Bay Athletic League action. Senior catcher Noah Robbins had two RBIs for the Cowboys, who improved to 2-5 in the EBAL. Sophomore left-hander Brian Martinez improved to 1-0. as a pitcher

    Freshman, Landman key Mustangs' win

  • Jonathan Freshman and Brendan Landman led the Monte Vista baseball team to a 4-0 win over Foothill on April 11. Freshman tossed a two-hitter with nine strikeouts, and Landman slugged a two-run homer in the fourth inning and was 2 for 2. The Mustangs' Cameron Bothwell was 1 for 2 with an RBI.

    MacIntosh rakes for Amador Valley

  • Junior Jake MacIntosh was 3 for 3 with two doubles and an RBI as the Amador Valley baseball team won a showdown against California 5-3 on April 11. The Dons' Austin Piscotty was 2 for 2 with a run and an RBI, and pitcher Tyler Staniford allowed no earned runs over six innings. The wide-open EBAL opened this week with four teams atop the standings each with two league losses: Amador Valley, De La Salle, California and San Ramon Valley.

    Wolves best Grizzlies

  • Sophomore left fielder Emma Davitz was 4 for 4 with a triple, RBI and two runs scored as San Ramon Valley's softball team beat California 7-1 in EBAL softball on April 11. The Wolves' Lexi Villalobos was 3 for 4 with a triple, RBI and two runs scored for the winners. Senior captain Courtney Kezerian tossed a five-hitter to improve to 10-3 on the season.

  • Tanner Hughes, Foothill golf -- Hughes shot a 4-under 32 as the Falcons went 8-under as a team in a win Granada at Poppy Ridge Chardonnay on April 11.

  • Chris Larsen, Dublin golf -- Larsen carded a 3-under 33 in the Gaels' 184-216 win in the DFAL over Dougherty Valley at San Ramon Golf Club on April 10.

  • Katelyn Moore, Amador Valley softball -- Moore was 2 for 3 with two runs and two RBIs as the Dons beat California 10-0 in six innings on April 10.

  • Zach Smith, Amador Valley golf -- Smith, the senior co-captain, shot a 2-under 34 a Ruby Hill Golf Club, leading the host Dons to a 195-197 win over De La Salle on April 10.

  • Katyln Whitt, Dublin softball -- Whitt tossed a no-hitter over five innings in an 11-0 win over Campolindo on April 11 in the Diablo Foothill Athletic League on April 11. She was also 3 for 4 with an RBI.

  • Emma Davitz, San Ramon Valley softball -- She was 4 for 4 with a triple in an EBAL win over California, and she was 3 for 4 with a double in a 6-1 win over Livermore on April 10.

  • Zach Goldblatt, Monte Vista golf -- Goldblatt shot a 1-under 35 in the Mustangs' win over Livermore at Round Hill Country Club on April 11.

  • Connor Keowen, California volleyball -- The sophomore had 42 assists in back-to-back EBAL matches against De La Salle and Amador Valley in EBAL action.
