Cranberry Orange Smoothie

Makes 2 16-ounce servings

Note: Give this flavorful smoothie a "superfood" boost by adding 1 tablespoon acai powder.

3/4 cup fresh or frozen whole cranberries

1/4 cup dried goji berries

1 cup chopped ripe pear

1 tablespoon flaxseed powder

1 1/2 cups orange juice

2 cups ice

Sweetener, to taste, optional

Blend all the ingredients together, except the ice, until smooth. Add ice and blend again until frosty. Taste, and sweeten as desired.
