OAKLAND -- A man killed July 23 in an East Oakland shooting that also left another man wounded has been identified as Norman Lewis, 19, police said Thursday.
Lewis, who lived in another part of Oakland, was shot about 7:30 p.m. July 23 in the 1500 block of 80th Avenue near Alder Street. He died later at a hospital.
A 22-year-old man with Lewis suffered non-life threatening wounds. His name was not released.
Police don't have a motive yet for the shooting and no arrests have been made.
On July 31, another man, Ahmad Belton, 43, who lived in the area, was fatally shot on the same block.
Homicide investigators have so far not been able to determine if the two killings are related.
