ANTIOCH -- A 19-year-old San Francisco man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a Brentwood man on Sept. 28, police said.
San Francisco police arrested Armoun Page about 6 p.m. Monday after he was identified as a suspect in the shooting and a warrant was issued, Antioch police Sgt. Tony Morefield said. Page was taken to the County Jail in Martinez where he was being held in lieu of $2 million bail. Police were expected to present their case to the Contra Costa District Attorney's Office on Tuesday.
Khalid Bragg, 24, of Brentwood, was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time after the 10 p.m. shooting in the 2200 block of Banyan Way, Morefield said. He was the 11th homicide victim in the city of Antioch so far this year.
Police have not said what led to the shooting, which also wounded a 20-year-old Suisun man. Police have not updated his condition, but his injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
