60 years agoAntioch granted own mosquito district: Antioch will have its own, exclusive mosquito abatement district, and if Diablo Valley and Bethel Island want to do something about getting rid of the pests, they will have to go it on their own.

Eighteen year old Elena Myers of Discovery Bay is having a fine season on the motorcycle road track. After making a historical run at the Daytona International Speedway in March, Myers recently had two straight top 13 finishes at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma.
