MORAGA -- Police are seeking the public's help to locate the driver of a gold SUV who again on Thursday was seen offering a ride to at least one student near Joaquin Moraga Intermediate School.

On Wednesday, the male driver called to a boy walking on Camino Pablo in front of the school about 2:30 p.m. and asked him if he needed a ride, police said. The boy said no and the man drove off toward Canyon Road.

The same boy saw the vehicle again about 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Moraga Police previously said they were looking for a brown pickup truck. That information is incorrect.

Police now say the vehicle is described as a gold SUV that is dirty or dusty and possibly has a broken rear window. The vehicle was parked across the street from the school on Camino Pablo Drive, police said.

Police said the same man was seen about two weeks ago asking another student if he wanted a ride.

The driver is described as a clean-shaven, college-age white man with a buzz cut hair style.

Anyone with information or who sees the vehicle should contact Moraga police at 925-284-5010.
