traffic incident: A vehicle stopped on Moraga Road at Hansen Court to let turkeys cross the road. The vehicle was rear-ended and that vehicle in turn was also rear-ended. residential burglary: Someone entered a residence in the 0-100 block of Greenfield Drive by breaking through a glass sliding door leading into the master bedroom. Several pieces of custom jewelry from the bathroom and $400 from a bedroom dresser drawer were taken. Total monetary loss was $650.Lafayette

Carjacking: A 27-year-old male was arrested at 12:40 a.m. after carjacking a vehicle in the 00 block of Camino Pablo and crashing it on Highway 24 near Lafayette. Identity theft: A 51-year-old male was arrested at 9:47 a.m. Sept. 13 in the 30 block of Orinda Way for identity theft after using the checking account of a former employer to obtain $49,000. The man attempted a second withdrawal of $32,000 but was denied by the bank. The man had wired the money to Nigeria for a $15.8 million inheritance. Wednesday, Sept. 19
Burglary: At 8:22 a.m., a burglary was reported in the 600 block of Moraga Way. Unknown suspects ransacked a home that had previously been burgled in August. Warrant: A 57-year-old woman was arrested at 10:27 a.m. in the 500 block of Moraga Way on a warrant from the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office. Residential burglary: At 2:10 p.m., a burglary was reported at a home in the 00 block of Overhill Road. Unknown suspects stole jewelry valued at $18,000.Saturday, Sept. 22
DUI: At 2:15 p.m., a 39-year-old male was arrested in the 70 block of Loma Vista Drive for driving under the influence. Monday, Sept. 24
Burglary: A commercial burglary was reported at 12:04 p.m. in the 00 block of Camino Sobrante. Two men were arrested for stealing batteries valued at $500 and for being in possession of burglary tools. Tuesday, Sept. 25
Probation violation: A 30-year-old woman was arrested at 1:32 p.m. in the 90 block of Tarry Lane for violation of probation and driving on a suspended license. Police had received initial reports that the occupants of a vehicle were stealing mail from mailboxes. Sunday, Sept. 28
Warrant: A 21-year-old woman was arrested at 4:11 a.m. at Fish Ranch Road and the westbound Highway 24 offramp for an outstanding warrant from Long Beach. She was also in possession of marijuana which she told police was hidden in a body cavity. Monday, Oct. 1
Drugs: An 18-year-old man was arrested at 11:11 p.m. in the 700 block of Moraga Way for drug possession. Police found him in possession of a glass pipe and suspected methamphetamine.
