Bugsy is a 5-to 6-year-old looking for a loving and stable home. He likes to ride in cars, loves walks, is OK around cats, and is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on shots. He has a food allergy so he needs a special diet. Bugsy has started to come out of his shell in his foster home, after having been abused and given up by his previous owners. He would be best in a fairly quiet home without a lot of confusion where he can get love and attention. Adoptions are 11 a.m.-1 p.m. the third Sunday of the month at Pet Food Express, at Oak Grove Road and Treat Boulevard, Concord.
Rocky is 7-8 years old, very shy and will need someone with time, love and patience. He has come a long way while in rescue, but still has a long way to go. He will relax to a certain extent, but pulls a lot on his leash, though he does respond better to control now. He likes treats and is crate-trained, and seems to be OK with female, but no male, dogs. If you have the time and love to give Rocky, email email@example.com, call MUSH (Malamutes Unwanted Seeking Homes) at 800-399-8155 or visit www.ncama.org and click on "rescue."
