  • BURGLARY: A burglary was reported at 6:50 a.m. from a vehicle in the 3600 block of Mt. Diablo Boulevard.

  • VANDALISM: Vandalism was reported at 10:55 a.m. in the 3200 block of Nogales Court.

  • HIT AND RUN: At 8:02 p.m., a hit and run was reported at Pleasant Hill Road and Springhill Road.

    Moraga Police

    The following excerpts were taken from the Moraga police log:

    Sunday, Sept. 1

  • Identity theft: A woman in the 1800 block of St. Andrews Drive contacted police about receiving mail alerting her of credit accounts opening in her name (which she didn't open). Companies reimbursed the victim for the fraudulent charges.

    Friday, sept. 6

  • hit and run: A black 2005 Scion was parked in a parking lot in the 500 block of Moraga Road when someone hit the driver's side rear bumper and caused minor damage.

  • Noise disturbance: Police went to an apartment in the 1900 block of Ascot Drive upon a complaint of a loud party; no further problems were reported.

    Saturday, sept. 7

  • petty theft: A tool bag was taken from in front of an apartment in the 2100 block of Donald Drive. The tool bag contained an electric multi tool driver, electric sander and various hand tools. The lass was valued at $500.

  • vandalism: A fence behind Joaquin Moraga Intermediate School was damaged by some large object hitting it. It could not be determined if the damage was intentional or an accident.

  • THEFT: A tool bag containing various electric and manual tools was stolen from an apartment complex in the 2100 block of Donald Drive.

    Monday, sept. 9

  • traffic incident (CAR THROUGH DELI WALL): A 90-year-old female driver jumped a curb and crashed through the westside wall of Bianca's Deli. The driver was uninjured, but two deli employees inside the business sustained minor injuries.
