Perry is the Sled Dog Rescue Pet of the Week for Oct. 17.

SLED DOG RESCUE

Perry is a 2-3-year-old Siberian husky who is well-socialized and gets along with other dogs his size. He needs some training on leash, obedience and housebreaking, though he has had some past training. He is intelligent and will pick up new behaviors quickly. He rides well in a car, but is awful in a crate and will demolish it. Perry will do well where he has multiple dogs to play with and humans who are home a lot. He is an escape artist, and cannot go to a home with cats, small dogs, or other small animals, or even farm animals. Call 800-471-5822 or email rescue@norsled.org.
