Sunday, OCT. 13

  • DUI: A 26-year-old man was arrested at 2:08 a.m. at Moraga Way and Moraga Road for driving under the influence.

    Friday, OCT. 18

  • Warrant arrest: A 54-year-old man was arrested at 2:10 a.m. at Santa Maria Way and Camino Pablo on a warrant from the Marin County Sheriff's Department.

    Sunday, OCT. 20

  • DUI: A 21-year-old man was arrested at 2:09 a.m. in the 20 block of Orinda Way for driving under the influence.

    MONDAY, OCT. 21

  • DUI: At 8:17 a.m., police arrested a man in the 170 block of Moraga Way for driving under the influence after causing a multiple-injury traffic collision. The suspect was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility following medical treatment.

  • traffic hazard: A black BMW 535i was partially blocking the eastbound lane in the 200 block of Rheem Boulevard. The driver was attempting a U-turn and misjudged the roadway; the vehicle's front tire fell into the drainage ditch, and the vehicle became stuck. A tow truck was required to get the vehicle rolling again. The drain was not damaged.

    Sunday, Oct. 27

  • vandalism: Officers observed large blue-and-white block letters in the bowl of Moraga Commons Skate Park on St. Marys Road. The damage is estimated to be $500.

  • hit and run: A black Chevrolet SUV hit a concrete barrier post at Joaquin Moraga Intermediate School. The female driver got out of her vehicle, looked at the damage and then left the scene without notifying the owner. A license plate number was noted and the case is currently under investigation.
