Alana is Community Concern for Cats' Pet of the Week for Nov. 7.

CC4C

Anala is a 10-month-old, long-haired, orange and white, spayed female. She is very outgoing, confident and friendly, and is eager to gree everyone. She was rescued from a cattle ranch -- not the safest place for a kitten -- so she is now looking for a loving home and family. Anala is comfortable with other cats, dogs, kids and even a busy household. For those interested in adopting her, call Jane with Community Concern for Cats at 925-759-9079 or email jlkelsberg@yahoo.com.

GOLDEN RESCUE

Comet is a 10-year-old, neutered, male golden retriever who walks well on a leash and has great house manners. He is great with children and dogs of all ages, and just wants some more years of love, a warm bed and regular meals. He will repay his new owner with devotion and a nonstop wagging tail. For more information about Comet, contact Kathy at kathy.quiroz@yahoo.com. or visit www.ngrr.com.
