Cooper is the Pug Rescue Pet of the Week for Nov. 21.

MUSH

Tana is one of the malamutes from the Montana seizure being fostered in the Walnut Creek area, who is being socialized. She still is shy and afraid of some situations, but has come a very long way.

Tana walks well on leash, and enjoys hiking and backpacking. She will woo at you when she wants to play, eat, or just for a treat.

When out and about, she will sit and let people pet her and give her a treat.

Tana still has some issues to overcome and there will definitely be a transition to a new home, but she continues to progress. Email spiritofashadow@aol.com, call MUSH (Malamutes Unwanted Seeking Homes) at 800-399-8155 or visit www.ncama.org and click on "rescue."

PUG RESCUE

Cooper is a dapper 8-year old who ended up in a shelter but was rescued.

His age is just a number -- he is active and loves to go on walks.

He is great with other dogs, and is neutered and microchipped.

Pug Rescue of Sacramento has adoption days the third Sunday of the month at Pet Food Express, at Oak Grove and Treat Boulevard in Concord. They will be on site in November, but not December. PROS will return in January.
