  • Vehicle theft: A pickup truck was reported taken from the 1400 block of Camino Peral about 5 p.m. Inside the cab was about $1,500 worth of tools.

    Wednesday, Dec. 18

  • petty theft: A package was taken off a doorstep in the 300 block of Fernwood Drive. The resident followed a white Cadillac Escalade with a white female driver and a white male passenger fleeing the scene and obtained a license plate. The occupants were observed throwing empty boxes out the window as the vehicle fled the scene.

    Sunday, Dec. 22

  • ASSAULT: A 36-year-old female Moraga resident was fighting with employees in the 1300 block of Moraga Way. When officers arrived the subject made fists with both her hands and took a fighting stance. Upon arrival of second officer, the subject threw her purse at the officer. She was handcuffed and escorted to a patrol vehicle. She resisted efforts to place her in the patrol vehicle and attempted to spit on an officer several times. A spit shield was placed over the subject's head and she was transported to the Main Detention Facility in Martinez.
