Tucker is the Contra Costa Humane Society Pet of the Week for April 11.

HUMANE SOCIETY

Tucker is a 2-year-old, 60-pound American bulldog mix -- a mellow guy who would love to go on adventures with his new owner. He's great with kids and would do best in a home where he can be an only dog and enjoy the attention. Tucker is neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccines. For more information, visit www.cchumane.org or Facebook/ContraCostaHumaneSociety.

SLED DOG RESCUE

Stryker is an exuberant and playful 1-year-old who gets along well with other dogs and is quite the talker. He is young and can be trained with a little treat motivation, and is very good with commands and learns very quickly. He pulls on a leash and can display a small amount of leash aggression toward other dogs while on leash. He goes willingly into a crate but will voice his displeasure. Stryker has extreme separation anxiety, so cannot be left alone. He will need another dog to play with or someone who is retired or works from home. He is a very sweet boy and will make a great companion. Email rescue@norsled.org.
