LAFAYETTE -- Mayor Mike Anderson will give a "State of the City" address at this year's Lafayette Homeowners Council community meeting, set for Thursday, Nov. 14 at the Veterans Memorial Building, 3780 Mt. Diablo Blvd. in Lafayette.
There will be a question-and-answer session after Anderson's address, said Susan Price Callister, a spokeswoman for the homeowners council. There are many important issues for Lafayette residents, she said, including regional-versus-local control matters (including the controversial Plan Bay Area proposal) and concerns about maintaining the city's semirural character.
The Lafayette Homeowners Council represents all Lafayette homeowners. All Lafayette residents are welcome to attend.
