Campo winning with defense

The Campolindo High boys basketball team is rolling as the postseason gets underway. The Cougars claimed the Diablo Foothill Athletic League championship, beating Miramonte (73-52) and Dublin (80-39) during the final week of the regular season. Campolindo, pictured here with Walter Brennan (10) Matt O'Reilly (2), and Isaac Christian (1) playing tough defense against Las Lomas, earned the No. 3 seed in the North Coast Section Division III playoffs and a first-round date with No. 14 Albany on Feb. 25. Campolindo defeated Albany 88-48. Campolindo (21-6) hosts No. 6 seed Miramonte (16-11) on Friday at 8 p.m. in a quarterfinal game.
