LIVERMORE -- Police are searching for a man suspected of robbing a Livermore Citibank branch Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
The suspect walked into the Citibank at 2150 Portola Ave. at 1:29 p.m. and demanded money from the teller and implied that he had a weapon, Officer Traci Rebiejo said. The man left the bank shortly after with an unknown amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a heavyset white man between 25 and 30 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing between 220 and 250 pounds. He has reddish-brown sideburns and a light mustache and goatee, and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark sunglasses and a red baseball cap with a black bill.
