Gators finish on top

The Martinez AAA Gators Girls Softball Team finished its season on a winning note, capturing the Martinez Youth Baseball & Softball League title in the Tournament of Champions game against the Antioch Orioles by a score of 12-8. The team of 8-to 12-year-olds participated in the tournament June 26, at the Antioch Baseball and Softball Fields, and completed its season with a 12-3 record.
