Boo is a bright active boy, looking for an adopter who can meet both his physical energy needs and mental stimulation. Attending a basic manners training class would be good for Boo to bond with his new owner. The adoption fee for adult dogs is $225 and includes $60 off one seven-week dog training session. SLED DOG RESCUE

Maria is a sweet and loving 1-year-old who loves attention and has a lot of energy to burn, so daily exercise is a must. She needs additional training on the leash, and does OK in a crate but prefers to be out next to her owner. She rides pretty well in the car without making too much fuss or noise, and seems to get along with other dogs her size. She likes to play, so a playmate would be good for her.
