MARTINEZ -- One person was injured in a multivehicle crash on eastbound Highway 4 near Pacheco Boulevard after a pickup truck flipped on its roof, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred about 4:45 p.m. and involved four vehicles, CHP Officer Peter Van Eckhardt said. One car went off the road and onto the adjacent embankment as the truck overturned in the left lane.
The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and no other injuries were reported, Van Eckhardt said. All lanes were open to traffic by 5:30 p.m.
