THURSDAY, SEPT. 5 ASSAULT -- At 1:21 a.m., a man was reported assaulted at a dumpster at the Amtrak station on Marina Vista. PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 9:27 a.m. that keys to a cargo van were stolen from a business on Alhambra Avenue. The theft was recorded on surveillance tape. FRAUD -- A caller on Orchard View Avenue reported at 12:34 p.m. that someone had opened his mail containing a credit card application and pension statement. PETTY THEFT -- A 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of petty theft at an Arnold Drive business at 4:36 p.m.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 6 BURGLARY -- At 5:44 a.m., a caller reported that a coin box at a business on Alhambra Avenue was broken into. The incident was recorded on video. BURGLARY -- An attempted vehicle burglary was reported at 1:40 p.m. on Ashwood Drive. DUI -- A 20-year-old-man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence at Highway 4 and Morello Avenue.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 7 GRAND THEFT -- A vehicle was broken into at 8:48 a.m. and a garage door opener was used to gain access to a residence on St. Moritz Way. A firearm was stolen from an unlocked safe. PETTY THEFT -- On Greenway Drive, it was reported that a GPS was taken from an unlocked vehicle at 10:15 a.m. VEHICLE THEFT -- A caller reported a vehicle was stolen at 11:10 p.m. from Village Place. PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 4:29 p.m. that mail was stolen from a mailbox on Wallin Drive by four people in a vehicle. BURGLARY -- At 7:21 p.m., a vehicle was reported burglarized. A garage door opener and a set of work keys were stolen.
SUNDAY, SEPT. 8 VANDALISM -- The windows of a vehicle on Oakwood Circle were reported smashed at 7:22 a.m. VEHICLE THEFT -- It was reported at 9:59 a.m. that a vehicle was stolen from F Street. FRAUD -- An Alhambra Avenue business reported at 2:58 p.m. receiving a counterfeit $100 bill.
MONDAY, SEPT. 9 vehicle burglary -- At 7 a.m., a caller from Holiday Hill Drive reported a vehicle door was jimmied open and a bag with a checkbook, cash and two credit cards was stolen. petty theft -- A bike valued at approximately $900 was reported taken from a residence on Dardanelle Court at 7:11 a.m., and a bicycle left in its place. fraud -- At 11:31 a.m., a caller on Likins Avenue reported fraud on a credit card. disturbance -- A caller from Las Juntas Street reported at 11:43 a.m. that four trash cans full of garbage had been blocking the entrance to a business for a week. petty theft -- At 11:43 a.m., the rear license plate of a vehicle on Via Cordova Lane was reported stolen. petty theft -- A package was reported stolen from Morello Heights Circle at 2:11 p.m. vehicle theft -- On Marina Vista at 10:43 p.m., a vehicle was reported stolen.
TUESDAY, SEPT. 10 VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle was reported stolen at 1:32 a.m. from Pacheco Boulevard. FRAUD -- At 2:40 p.m., a caller on Breckenridge Court reported fraudulent online bank charges. HIT-AND-RUN -- A hit-and-run was reported at 3:24 p.m. at Main and Pine streets. FRAUD -- A caller on Mountain View Drive reported at 3:28 p.m. that personal identification information was used to obtain credit in another state. HIT-AND-RUN -- A hit-and-run was reported at 4:24 p.m. in a parking lot on Arnold Drive. FRAUD -- A caller from Bundros Court reported at 5:44 p.m. that a collections account was opened in the caller's name in Georgia. PETTY THEFT -- At 5:59 p.m., two packages were reported stolen from a porch on Sequoia Drive.
WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 11 PETTY THEFT -- It was reported on Fig Tree Lane at 9:30 a.m. that coin collectors were damaged, but it was unknown if any coins were missing. ARRESTS -- At 4:08 p.m. on Pine Street, a man, 40, and a woman, 20, were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, and a 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale. PETTY THEFT -- It was reported that gasoline was siphoned from a vehicle on Donegal Way at 4:45 p.m. BURGLARY -- At 5:13 p.m., a vehicle was burglarized on Hull Lane.
