THURSDAY, JAN. 23

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- It was reported at 8:38 a.m. that a vehicle was stolen from Milano Way.

  • FRAUD -- At 9:15 a.m., a caller on Scenic Avenue reported that an EDD account was fraudulently opened under the callers name and that checks were cashed.

  • PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 9:31 a.m. that two men, 19 and 20, were arrested on suspicion of theft of a cart full of merchandise at a business on Arnold Drive.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- It was reported at 11:03 a.m. that a vehicle was stolen from Alhambra Avenue.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- At 11:54 a.m., a vehicle was reported stolen from Main Street.

  • FRAUD -- A caller at a Ferry Street business reported at 2:37 p.m. that a woman attempted to cash a fraudulent check.

  • ARREST -- At 8:51 p.m. at Morello Avenue and Silva Court, a 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft, being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

  • BURGLARY -- It was reported at 11:20 p.m. that a vehicle was burglarized in a parking lot on Arnold Drive, resulting in damage to the driver's side door lock. A backpack with a tablet, games and medications were stolen.

    FRIDAY, JAN. 24

  • TRAFFIC STOP -- At Highway 4 and Alhambra Avenue at 2:42 a.m., two men, 25 and 24, were arrested on suspicion of being under a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance, intending to sell narcotics, transporting a controlled substance, and possessing methamphetamine.

  • BURGLARY -- It was reported at 7:07 a.m. that tools and equipment were stolen from a vehicle on Riverwood Circle.

  • BURGLARY -- At 9:29 a.m., the rear window of a vehicle on Morello Avenue was reported broken and tools were stolen.

  • PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 12:50 p.m. that items left out for a charity pickup were taken from a residence on Harbor View Drive.

  • FRAUD -- At 1:51 p.m., a caller on Range Place reported fraudulent activity on a credit card account, and that another account was fraudulently opened using unauthorized personal identification information.

  • PETTY THEFT -- A caller reported at 3 p.m. that medication and a tom-tom were stolen from a vehicle on Alhambra Avenue.

  • TRAFFIC STOP -- At 4:29 p.m. at Highway 4 and Pine Street, a 50-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft and being under the influence of a controlled substance, and a 56-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- It was reported at 4:37 p.m. that a vehicle was stolen from Howe Road.

  • HIT-AND-RUN -- A hit-and-run was reported at 5:03 p.m. in a parking lot on Arnold Drive.

  • PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 8:58 p.m. that a 48-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of petty theft at an Arnold Drive business.

    SATURDAY, JAN. 25

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle was reported stolen at 8:36 a.m. from Grandview Court.

  • FRAUD -- It was reported at 6:31 p.m. that mail was tampered with on Morello Park Drive.

    SUNDAY, JAN. 26

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- It was reported at 6:49 a.m. that a vehicle was stolen from Alhambra Avenue.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- At 9:04 a.m., a vehicle was reported stolen from Vista Oaks Drive.

  • FRAUD -- A caller on Stillspring Place reported at 12:51 p.m. receiving a call that due to missing a grand jury appearance in Alameda County, a warrant could be issued, but a payment of $1,000 could resolve the issue. The caller contacted Alameda County and was informed it was a scam.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- It was reported at 4:22 p.m. that a vehicle was stolen from Ward Street.

  • BURGLARY -- At 5:13 p.m., it was reported that a classroom was broken into at a school on E Street.

  • ROBBERY -- A caller on Alhambra Avenue reported at 5:40 p.m. that a man asked to borrow a phone and then attempted to steal the phone.

    MONDAY, JAN. 27

  • PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 6:58 a.m. that coins were stolen from a vehicle on Susana Street.

  • BURGLARY -- At 7:07 a.m., it was reported that a lock was cut at a business on Bridgehead Road and tools were stolen.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle was reported stolen from La Salle Street at 7:29 a.m.

  • PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 11:09 a.m. that registration and an insurance card were taken from an unlocked vehicle on Sunrise Court.

  • BURGLARY -- A caller at a business on Court Street reported a burglary at 11:20 a.m., and indicated that access was gained through a window.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle was reported stolen at 12:23 p.m. at Alhambra Avenue and C Street.

  • FRAUD -- A caller on Pinon Drive reported at 8:15 p.m. that personal identification information was fraudulently used to purchase a vehicle. The caller only learned of the fraud when someone from a repossession company came to take the car.

    TUESDAY, JAN. 28

  • PETTY THEFT -- A petty theft was reported at 3:18 p.m. at a business on Muir Station Road.

  • VANDALISM -- At 6:40 p.m., someone from a moving vehicle threw an object at the caller's vehicle at Alhambra Avenue and D Street, causing the vehicle to crash into a curb and blow a tire.

  • SUSPICIOUS PERSON -- A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance at a business on Arnold Drive at 8:51 p.m.
