THURSDAY, JAN. 30 HIT-AND-RUN -- At 7:57 a.m., it was reported that a vehicle on Alhambra Avenue was sideswiped in a hit-and-run. FRAUD -- A caller on Tres Palmas Street reported at 2:17 p.m. that a check was fraudulently cashed.
FRIDAY, JAN. 31 ILLEGAL DUMP -- At 12:44 p.m., a bushiness on Alhambra Avenue reported illegal dumping of asphalt sealer on the property. PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 5:06 p.m. that two women left a business on Arnold Drive without paying for items worth approximately $300 to $400. VEHICLE THEFT -- At 5:42 p.m., a vehicle was reported stolen from Pine Street. FRAUD -- It was reported that a customer passed a counterfeit $20 bill at a business on Alhambra Avenue at 8 p.m. DUI -- A 32-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence at 11:10 p.m. on Highway 4.
SATURDAY, FEB. 1 PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 8:58 a.m. that a delivered package worth $300 was taken from the front porch of a residence on Holly View Drive. PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 9:03 a.m. that a cell phone was stolen on Court Street. BURGLARY -- At 3:21 p.m., a caller reported a storage unit was burglarized on Mill Road, but it appeared nothing was missing. PETTY THEFT -- A caller on Center Avenue reported at 4:01 p.m. that two boxes of food valued $20 were taken from the porch of a residence. A video was recorded showing a woman walking up to the porch, taking the box and fleeing in a vehicle. PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 10:17 p.m. that two women were arrested on suspicion of petty theft at a business on Arnold Drive.
SUNDAY, FEB. 2 VEHICLE THEFT -- A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft and reckless driving at 12:09 a.m. on Alhambra Way. PUBLIC INTOXICATION -- At 3:24 a.m. on Ward Street, a 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and punching another man. PETTY THEFT -- A petty theft was reported at 4:34 p.m. at an Arnold Drive business. DUI -- A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence at 7:29 p.m. at Alhambra Avenue and Alhambra Valley Road.
MONDAY, FEB. 3 VEHICLE THEFT -- At 2:44 p.m., a vehicle was reported stolen from Pine and Main streets. HIT-AND-RUN -- It was reported at 2:46 p.m. that a vehicle hit an employee at a business on Arnold Drive. PETTY THEFT -- Mail was reported stolen at 4:35 p.m. at Morello Park Drive. Some of it was recovered down the street and on Santa Fe Avenue. HIT-AND-RUN -- At 8:16 p.m., a hit-and-run was reported on Pacheco Boulevard. GRAND THEFT -- A caller at an Arnold Drive business reported at 9:14 p.m. that a bicycle worth $700 was stolen after the lock was cut off.
TUESDAY, FEB. 4 BURGLARY -- It was reported at 5:45 a.m. that two vehicles were burglarized during the night on Skyline Drive and a garage remote was taken. PETTY THEFT -- At 8:50 a.m., a caller on Creekview Court reported a theft from a locked vehicle. FRAUD -- A caller on Sierra Court reported at 10:58 a.m. the unauthorized use of personal identification information. FRAUD -- At 1:42 p.m., a caller from a business on Main Street reported receiving two calls, from someone purporting they were from PG&E, advising that power to the business would be cut off if a $1,500 payment was not immediately made through a prepaid card at Safeway. PETTY THEFT -- At 4:03 p.m., a bag containing personal information was taken from a garage on Lost Lake Place. VEHICLE THEFT -- A business on Tarantino Drive reported at 4:11 p.m. that a vehicle was stolen.
WEDNESDAY, FEB. 5 BURGLARY -- At 6:55 a.m. and 8:21 a.m., police received calls that the windows of two vehicles in a parking lot on Arnold Drive were smashed and briefcases, and in one instance a cell phone, were stolen. DUI -- A 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence at 11:42 a.m. at Alhambra and Walnut avenues. PETTY THEFT -- At 12:09 p.m., a delivered package worth $525 was reported stolen off the front porch of a residence on Castro Street. FRAUD -- A caller on Pinnacle Drive reported at 12:11 p.m. that a Social Security number was fraudulently used to open an account. GRAND THEFT -- It was reported at 3:36 p.m. that bicycles were reported stolen from a garage on Richardson Street during a move.
