THURSDAY, FEB. 20

  • BURGLARY -- It was reported at 9:32 a.m. that a vehicle was burglarized during the night on Benham Drive. A set of keys was left in the vehicle not belonging to the owner of the vehicle.

  • FORGERY -- At 2:40 p.m., a caller on South Castro Street reported a forged a name on a check.

  • PETTY THEFT -- On Green Street, a caller reported at 3:43 p.m. that medication was taken out of a bottle by a visitor.

  • BURGLARY -- It was reported at 4:30 p.m. that a vehicle was burglarized at Eastwoodbury Lane and Fig Tree Lane.

  • FRAUD -- At 4:34 p.m., a caller on Soto Street reported receiving a fraudulent letter stating that money was due to the Internal Revenue Service. The demand letter had a different address from the address of the caller.

    FRIDAY, FEB. 21

  • HIT-AND-RUN -- A hit-and-run was reported at 1:04 a.m. in a parking lot on Ferry Street.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- It was reported at 8:27 a.m. that vehicle was stolen from Waterfront Road, which was captured on a video.

  • HIT-AND-RUN -- A hit-and-run was reported at 8:46 a.m. on Alhambra Avenue.

  • FRAUD -- At 11:35 a.m. a caller on Cross Creek Drive reported that credit cards were fraudulently used at two businesses.

  • VANDALISM -- It was reported at 1:36 p.m. that all four tires were slashed on a vehicle on E Street.

  • PETTY THEFT -- At 1:47 p.m., a cell phone was reported stolen from a backpack on F Street.

  • PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 2:46 p.m. that a person was in custody on suspicion of petty theft at a business on Arnold Drive.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Grand theft was reported at 3 p.m. at an Alhambra Avenue business.

  • FRAUD -- A caller on Parkway Drive reported unauthorized charges on a credit card at 3:20 p.m.

  • VANDALISM -- It was reported at 3:25 p.m. that a cable box was opened and the wires cut at a residence on Heatherleaf Lane. A garden hose was also pulled out and thrown about.

    SATURDAY, FEB. 22

  • PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 9:46 a.m. that loose change and sunglasses were taken from an unlocked vehicle on Lake Oaks Court.

  • ARRESTS -- At 12:51 p.m., a 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of petty theft at a business on Arnold Drive, vehicle theft and evading police. A 22-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of theft of a vehicle.

  • PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 3:57 p.m. that perfume, cosmetics and other miscellaneous items were stolen from a residence on Ferry Street.

  • RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE -- At 5:09 p.m., a 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft, possession of a controlled substance and being under the influence. Another man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

  • VANDALISM -- A 34-year-old man was arrested for suspicion of breaking the front window of a residence on Pacheco Boulevard at 9:18 p.m.

    SUNDAY, FEB. 23

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle theft was reported at 6:33 a.m. on Escobar Street.

  • PETTY THEFT -- Theft of railroad ties at a train yard on the Embarcadero was reported at 7:38 a.m.

  • HIT-AND-RUN -- A hit-and-run was reported at 8:48 a.m. on Raap Avenue, and a work truck was damaged.

  • BURGLARY -- At 4:48 p.m., a vehicle parked on Alhambra Valley Road was burglarized and tools were left behind.

  • PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 544 p.m. that a man stole merchandise from a business on Arnold Drive and fled in a vehicle.

  • BURGLARY -- It was reported at 6:42 p.m. that a vehicle on Marina Vista was burglarized during the night.

  • ASSAULT -- At 11:54 p.m. on Pinon Drive, a 50-year-old man and a 47-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon namely a Taser.

    MONDAY, FEB. 24

  • VANDALISM -- It was reported at 6:51 a.m. that the windows of two vehicles parked on Susana Street were smashed over the weekend. It was unknown if anything was taken.

  • BURGLARY -- At 9:48 a.m., a hole was punched in the door of a residence on Escobar Street during the weekend. Various tools, construction equipment, dishes and silverware were stolen.

  • PETTY THEFT -- An individual was arrested on suspicion of petty theft at 11:29 a.m. at an Arnold Drive business.

  • VANDALISM -- It was reported at 12:09 p.m. that the trim was pulled off the front door of a residence on Main Street. The door knob was also damaged but it did not appear entry was made into the residence.

  • PETTY THEFT -- On Virginia Hills Drive, a mountain bicycle was reported stolen at 2:34 p.m.

  • BURGLARY -- It was reported at 6:20 p.m. that wires were cut from the dashboard of a vehicle on Knollview Court and under the hood.

  • PEDESTRIAN STOP -- At 9:12 p.m. on Freda Court, five people, ages 26, 35, 36, 37 and 41, were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

    TUESDAY, FEB. 25

  • BURGLARY -- At 12:54 a.m., the window of a vehicle parked on Ferry Street was reported smashed and a laptop was stolen.

  • TRAFFIC STOP -- At Wildcroft Drive and Alhambra Avenue, it was reported at 1:47 a.m. that a 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

  • SECURITY CHECK -- At 5:07 a.m. on Freda Court, three men 23, 27 and 30, and a 36-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

  • ATTEMPTED BURGLARY -- At 10:14 a.m., a caller on Pacheco Boulevard reported a juvenile attempting to break into his vehicle. The same person was seen later attempting to break into the vehicle and made eye contact with the owner, then lifted his shirt and showing a firearm and lifting it out of his waist band and pointing it sideways.

  • VANDALISM -- It was reported at 10:27 a.m. that the door lock of a vehicle on Rolling Hill Way was damaged.

  • VANDALISM -- On Knollwood Drive, it was reported the front tire of a vehicle was slashed at 10:29 a.m.

  • PETTY THEFT -- At 12:59 p.m. an individual was in custody at a business on Alhambra Avenue on suspicion of theft.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A caller at Pine and Haven streets reported at 1:04 p.m. that a vehicle was stolen.

  • FRAUD -- A caller on Trailview Circle reported at 4:27 p.m. that a Social Security number was fraudulently used to file tax returns.

  • PEDESTRIAN STOP -- A 20-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance at 10:23 p.m. on Center Avenue.

    WEDNESDAY, FEB. 26

  • WARRANT -- At 9:29 a.m. at a business on Arnold Drive, a 25-year-old man was arrested in connection with a warrant and attempting to pass a counterfeit $10 bill.

  • BURGLARY -- At 12:10 p.m., a vehicle was reported burglarized on Douglas Drive.

  • BURGLARY -- At 3:32 p.m., a motorcycle saddle bag, helmet, riding suit and a back rest were stolen from a closed garage on Lost Lake Place.

  • PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 5:12 p.m. that an individual was arrested at an Arnold Drive business on suspicion of petty theft.

  • VANDALISM -- On Muir Road, caller reported at 6:30 p.m. that a window of a building was smashed.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle was reported stolen at Ferry and Escobar streets at 11:28 p.m.
